Within Citi Commercial Bank (CCB), we partner with ambitious, fast-growing businesses that are shaping the future economy. Our Digital, Technology & Communications team supports innovative companies across software, technology, telecommunications, media, digital infrastructure and the broader innovation ecosystem. We are seeking a senior banking leader to head our Digital, Technology & Communications franchise in Taiwan. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving business growth, deepening client relationships, leading a team of relationship managers, and expanding Citi's presence across one of Taiwan's most dynamic sectors.
As Segment Head, you will work closely with founders, CEOs, CFOs, investors and senior decision-makers while leveraging Citi's global platform to deliver strategic banking solutions that help clients scale locally and internationally.
- Lead Citi's Taiwan Digital, Technology & Communications business and execute the growth strategy for the segment.
- Drive revenue growth by deepening existing client relationships and acquiring new banking relationships across the technology ecosystem.
- Expand Citi's market presence among technology companies, venture-backed businesses, high-growth corporates and established industry leaders.
- Develop and execute strategic client plans that increase share of wallet and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Serve as the senior relationship owner for a portfolio of priority clients with significant growth potential.
- Build trusted relationships with founders, CEOs, CFOs, Treasurers and board-level stakeholders.
- Deliver holistic banking solutions by partnering across Lending, Treasury & Trade Solutions, Markets and other product teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on growth, liquidity, financing and cross-border expansion strategies.
- Represent Citi within Taiwan's technology, startup and venture capital communities.
- Develop meaningful relationships with venture capital firms, private equity investors, law firms, accelerators and other influential ecosystem participants.
- Position Citi as the banking partner of choice for Taiwan's innovation economy.
- Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing team of Relationship Managers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, client excellence and continuous development.
- Attract, retain and develop top-performing banking talent while building a strong succession pipeline.
- Ensure all business activity is conducted in accordance with applicable regulations, Citi policies and risk governance standards.
- Exercise sound credit judgment and risk management practices across the client portfolio.
- Maintain a strong culture of ethics, control and accountability while safeguarding Citi, its clients and reputation.
- Significant experience leading client coverage teams within Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, or a related client-facing financial services environment.
- Strong track record of originating business, building client relationships and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of the Digital, Technology & Communications / TMT sector, including technology companies, software, telecommunications, media or venture-backed businesses.
- Demonstrated experience advising clients on lending, treasury solutions, liquidity management, foreign exchange, capital structure or other banking solutions.
- Strong commercial credit and risk management capabilities.
- Experience leading teams and developing high-performing talent.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders and businesses.
