The role centers on evaluating and structuring new lending opportunities for growth businesses (the "Missing Middle") across sectors including healthcare, hospitality, leisure, financial intermediaries, and manufacturing.
Key responsibilities:
source and shape loan proposals with deal teams at an early stage; deliver credit recommendations to Credit Committees; review term sheets and covenant packages; partner with Legal and Loan Execution through closing; support portfolio management (increases, extensions, restructures, covenant resets).Requirements: 10+ years in credit risk or a related discipline, strong experience in US C&I lower mid-market lending, structured/leveraged finance experience including M&A and private equity exposure, and familiarity with credit risk concepts (RWA, PD, LGD).Compensation:
$150,000-$220,000/year based on experience, plus 401k match, health benefits, and 20 days holiday.
