Great opportunity for a recent graduate located in NYC, on a hybrid model, for a large financial investment firm. The role offers hands‑on exposure to multi‑asset investing, combining quantitative analysis, market insight, and more.
Responsibilities- Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, liquidity, and cash positions to ensure alignment with investment objectives and guidelines.
- Analyze portfolio positioning and deliver insights that support investment decisions and portfolio optimization.
- Assist in developing and enhancing portfolio construction methodologies, risk analytics, and trading infrastructure.
- Collaborate with trading, operations, compliance, risk management, and middle office teams to ensure efficient trade execution, operational accuracy, and portfolio oversight.
- Work closely with investment professionals across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or Finance
- 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships in asset management, trading, risk, operations, or investment analytics
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AI, including data analysis, and financial modeling
- Programming experience in Python or a similar language preferred
