Location: New York

  • Help support the development of the DCM Americas business in conjunction with Global Banking, Financial Markets and Corporate Finance and other product partners globally.
  • Help manage and grow the Origination of the Capital Markets product suite with existing and new clients.
  • Help support the growth in DCM revenues and market awareness of SCB’s global DCM capabilities.
  • Help maintain proper cost, compliance and risk controls
Business
  • Support the senior coverage of Americas clients in coverage of the sectors mentioned above.
  • Support the marketing and execution of fixed income issuance into the global capital markets (US, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa).
  • Support US Private Placement transactions (from pitching to execution).
  • Help prepare and provide clients with information pertaining to market updates, pricing, issuance strategy and regulatory changes.
  • Help maintain and continuously elevate DCM’s profile through internal and external marketing.
Processes
  • Help support the execution of all transactions with DCM legal and bond syndicate.
  • Provide clients with pitches, proposals, presentations and analyses related to potential bond issuance and liability management.
  • With Bond Syndicate and senior members of the DCM team, be jointly responsible for pricing updates and new issue executions.
  • Help cross sell interest rate and Foreign Exchange risk management with Financial Markets sales.

  • 1+ year of relevant capital markets or investment banking experience in a similar role at a leading commercial or investment bank
