Overview
The Private Equity/Private Funds Client Service Team is a niche coverage group that provides client service and operational support for the firm’s Private Equity funds. The team partners with internal groups and external fund administrators to deliver a consistent client service experience to private fund investors. The Analyst will join this team, taking ownership of onboarding, day‑to‑day client inquiries, fund administrator relationships, and the creation and dissemination of client, regulatory, and shareholder service reporting.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive support to Investor Relations in onboarding, servicing, and maintaining the investor database, as well as ongoing client support.
- Onboard clients and assist them with required documentation.
- Perform account maintenance: name/address changes, gifting and/or transferring partnership interest, and other database updates.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client files.
- Support the NB Alternatives fund(s) by communicating financial statements, capital calls, distributions, quarterly updates, and tax documents.
- Field client telephone calls and emails; collaborate with appropriate NB staff to resolve requests.
- Work closely with clients to deliver exceptional service and gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of client servicing.
- Collaborate within the team to achieve shared service goals.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2‑3+ years of relevant experience.
- Excellent client service skills, sound business judgment, and understanding of escalation procedures.
- Detail‑oriented and organized with strong follow‑up skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Series7 and 66 licenses are required.
- Experience working with or at a fund administrator.
- Private Equity exposure.
New York City; hybrid with a minimum of three days per week in office.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $80,000‑$95,000. The role is eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of the total comprehensive package. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, life insurance, and other benefits to eligible employees.
