We are seeking a Transaction Manager to join our team at our New York City headquarters or in Boca Raton, FL. In this highly visible role, you will partner closely with an originator to structure, manage, and close debt transactions for multifamily clients. Your focus will primarily be on FHA products, with exposure to Agency, Bridge, CMBS, and Specialty Lending solutions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Sizing loans and providing competitive and achievable soft/preliminary quotes for multiple capital sources.
- Manage transactions end‑to‑end—from application through closing—ensuring timelines, deliverables, and milestones are met.
- Assist with due diligence, data input, and information collection efforts.
- Track and manage all transaction activity, maintaining accuracy and momentum throughout the process.
- Complete market research through third‑party information sources.
- Act as a key internal partner, helping drive efficiency and consistency across deal execution.
- Client acquisition and churn.
- Pursuits supported.
- Volume of successful transactions.
- Accuracy and timeliness of analysis.
- Ability to help enhance team processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5+ years’ experience working with HUD loan products.
- Prior commercial real estate experience required.
- Highly detail oriented with strong organizational/project‑management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills with a proven respect for deadlines.
- Driven, innovative, team player who is focused on results and strives to deliver a superior work product.
- Ability to size loans across all product types to fit clients’ needs.
- Ability to communicate strategically and effectively with clients.
- Advanced familiarity with alternative capital providers in the multifamily space.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Possess a strong interest in making processes more efficient.
- Self‑motivated.
- Ability to multitask.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Greystone offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $145,000 per year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidate’s qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
