JOB OFFER Job Summary

The Fund Director's primary responsibilities are the development and monitoring of a robust investment Fund that will enable AAA Intergalactic Investments Group (AAA Intergalactic) to reach long‑term impact‑investing goals. In collaboration with other members of the Funds Management team, the Director will build the pipeline of enterprises that meet the investment criteria of current and future funds administered by AAA Intergalactic.

Pipeline enterprises will include, but are not limited to, privately owned utilities, cooperatives, SMEs in Intergalactic Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Smart Real Estate, Telecommunications, Financial Technology, Insurance, Artificial Intelligence, Logistics, and Agriculture. The Director will conduct due diligence on investment candidates, oversee the execution/disbursement of investments, and perform subsequent Fund monitoring and reporting. The Director works very closely with investment analysts – making investment decisions based on the financial information and recommendations they provide.

and Responsibilities
  • Assessing and interpreting complicated financial information
  • Regularly meeting with investment analysts and company managers to discuss financial matters
  • Negotiating with vendors and service providers needed for production
  • Research activities
  • Liaising with capital seekers
  • Developing marketing and production teams with local expertise
  • Gathering information
  • Reading financial briefings (often written by investment analysts)
  • Making informed financial recommendations and decisions
  • Keeping knowledge up‑to‑date about the local and global economy, financial news, and markets
Portfolio Monitoring
  • Monitor the performance of the portfolio
  • May focus on one particular fund
  • Conduct weekly meetings to assess fund performance and prevent shortcomings
  • Develop strategies to reduce losses and increase profitability
  • Take actions to maximize fund performance
Financial Regulations
  • Ensure all investment activities adhere to financial industry regulations
  • Conduct audits to prevent fraud and effectively manage risks
  • Submit documents and reports to oversight bodies or appear before regulators as necessary
Financial Transactions
  • Weigh the risks and benefits of each transaction, determining alignment with the fund's strategies
Maintain Funds Records
  • Maintain records and documentation related to investments and transactions
  • Develop weekly, quarterly, and annual reports on fund performance and activities
  • Produce documents related to our funds for distribution
Ideal Candidate Credentials
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, economics, finance, or a closely related field
  • A Master of Business Administration or similar graduate degree is desirable
  • Seven years of increasingly responsible experience in the financial service industry, with direct experience in fund or portfolio management and overseeing investment risk management and/or compliance functions for a public entity or private institution; experience with portfolio allocation, manager performance evaluation, risk management, custody relationships, and investment consultants and advisors
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or similar qualification is desirable
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and economic indicators
  • Strong history of data‑driven strategic development
  • Proficiency using financial software for economic and financial indicators, securities pricing, and other research and analytical functions
