Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Consultant

Our client is seeking an FP&A individual to join their growing team. This position is remote-hybrid based out of NYC. This job is onsite 3days per week and remote 2days per week. Qualified candidates will be contacted immediately.

• Assist with financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and internal reporting to help evaluate and improve the firm’s financial performance.
• Gather and analyze data from multiple systems while partnering with cross-functional teams to produce accurate reports and support business initiatives.
• Contribute to scenario planning, forecasting, and sensitivity analyses for both existing operations and new business opportunities.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers to monitor fund performance, including key metrics such as IRR, serving as a primary Finance contact to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team to review financial results, analyze budget-to-actual variances, identify trends, and support ongoing reporting initiatives.
• Work alongside business leaders to evaluate departmental revenue, expenses, and overall financial performance through regular reporting and analysis.
• Support strategic initiatives and business transformation projects in partnership with the Strategy and Corporate Development team, tracking progress and measuring results.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance internal financial reports and dashboards using One Stream.
• Validate financial information included in investor materials, marketing presentations, and other external communications to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Review and approve financial content used in asset management marketing materials and investor presentations.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance.
• Prior experience within financial services, ideally supporting an asset management organization.

• CPA, CFA, or MBA designation is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial planning and reporting platforms such as One Stream is desirable but not required.

• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to investigate issues beyond the surface level.
• Self-motivated, collaborative professional who adapts quickly to new systems and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify meaningful trends, and communicate actionable recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with strong financial modeling and presentation capabilities.
