Financial Reporting and Analytics
- Assist with the production of NA Quarterly results narrative and earnings presentations.
- Key NA lead in working with Business Unit teams to drive consistency in our management information framework and consolidate NA Business Unit Management Information.
- Key Team member in delivering required analytics to multiple stakeholders within the company including Actuarial, Controllers, and Corporate FP&A.
- Coordinate key management deliverables and manage timelines to ensure successful team delivery.
- Responsible for the reconciliation of core financials as well as corresponding analytics.
- Work closely with the Reinsurance Finance team to support third-party information submissions and align around key financials.
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial forecasts, budgets and long-term plans.
- Oversee production and enhancement of analytical reports during Budget and Forecast cycles.
- Support preparation of Forecast and Budget results memos and presentations.
- Support tracking of key performance metrics across North America and delivery of results to senior leadership.
- Coordinate with NA BUs and support improvement of the forecast and planning processes across the organization.
- 5+ years of progressive accountancy or finance experience within the insurance industry
- Prior people management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong business and financial acumen and ability to present issues clearly and concisely
- Experience in forecast modeling and strong knowledge of business performance metrics
- Experience in performing complex analysis of financial and/or regulatory issues
- Superior understanding of the financial dynamics of a Property Casualty insurer and the related growth, profitability and risk drivers
- Anaplan, SAP BPC experience a plus
- Proficient in Power BI or Tableau
The base salary range for this position is $108,000-$135,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. Your actual compensation will be dependent on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
