Vice President, Private Credit Operations

Oliver James have partnered exclusively with a reputable global alternative asset manager who possess $400b AUM across various asset classes as they look to hire a Vice President of Private Credit Operations within their Asset Based Finance group in Manhattan. They are ideally seeking to hire an ambitious professional who can take responsibility for the servicing, reporting and executing of their private credit investment portfolio and subsequent credit facilities.

Our client is offering a base salary between $150,000 and $200,000 depending on experience, hybrid working, a clear route for progression and much more!

• Develop and maintain model that provides testing guidelines including interest coverage, overcollateralization and collateral quality tests specified in Indentures by use of proprietary models.
• Provide weekly snapshot which includes KPI, positions summary, proforma quarterly distribution, redemption analysis, and transactions to portfolio managers and trade desk.
• Review and tie-out extensive data for trustee monthly and quarterly payment reports.
• Maintain borrowing base files for leverage facilities and facilitate any fundings or paydowns on the leverage as directed by portfolio management.
• General fund oversight which includes monitor and maintain covenants of leverage facilities.
• Refresh monthly private funds team metrics and quarterly QPR.
• Manage transaction structures involving counter parties, servicers, trustees, fund administrators etc.
• Execution of amendment, restructuring and closure of entities at end of transactions.

• 5+ years of private credit related and/or structured product experience
• 5+ years of experience within the investment management space from an operational perspective.
• Operational knowledge of bank debt and fixed income securities
• Operational knowledge of Middle Market private credit structures and leverage facilities.

• Base salary between $150,000 and $200,000 DOE
• $40,000 discretionary bonus
