** Job Description
**** Job Summary
** The Vice President plays a central leadership role within the Brookfield Special Investments (“BSI”) team. The Vice President is responsible for driving deal execution, investment thesis development, diligence management, and portfolio value creation. Working closely with the fund’s senior leadership, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving underwriting quality, operational improvement, and long-term value creation. In addition, the Vice President will assist in developing business networks to find new investment targets.

The Vice President is a seasoned investment professional with strong judgment and a demonstrated ability to lead complex private transactions from origination through execution. A track record in executing hybrid capital solution transactions is a plus for this role.  
** Key Responsibilities
***** Deal Execution
**** Manage full diligence work streams and lead all aspects of deal execution (commercial, financial, operational, technology, HR, insurance, regulatory, legal, etc.).
* Lead the financial due diligence process, including overseeing modeling, valuation, and analysis prepared by junior colleagues.
* Develop and evaluate creative, bespoke transaction structures that address BSI’s investment objectives and counter parties’ needs, while optimizing risk-adjusted returns.
* Develop and execute the value creation plan during diligence, working with operational teams to identify opportunities and assess risks to achieving targeted results.
* Partner with legal, tax, and other internal teams to execute transactions, ensuring deal structuring and documentation are aligned with the business case.
* Prepare and present investment cases, presentation materials, bid letters, and other transaction-related documentation.

* Maintain and expand relationships with bankers, advisors, founders, and executives.
