JPM Private Bank​/WM Solutions, Cross Asset Derivatives ​/ Structured Products Associate

Within the J.P. Morgan Private Bank, the Cross Asset Solutions team works with Private Bank and Wealth Management advisors, strategists, and cross-asset trading partners to help clients assess market dynamics, identify, structure products, and access markets for investment and risk management goals. We are seeking an Associate to coordinate and develop market investment and risk management conversations across the U.S. advisor platform, with a focus on learning derivatives products across OTC and structured notes and coordinating across a team in a fast-paced trading floor environment.

Core skills include strong analytical ability, a financial markets background, the ability to analyze and price linear and non-linear derivatives, and intellectual curiosity to learn and excel. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required to support presentations and analyses, with an emphasis on leveraging AI tools to enhance processes. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, verbal, problem-solving under time pressure and written communication skills will support interactions with WM advisors in client discussions.

• Work with the team to build product and market expertise and help lead conversations with advisors and clients around tailored investment and risk management solutions.
• Assist in product structuring, pricing, market conventions, and execution across Equity, Fixed Income, FX, and Commodities OTC derivatives and structured notes.
• Prepare analysis and marketing materials (including pitch books) for advisors and clients.
• Help strategize and execute the growth of the derivatives business.
• Work with strategists to develop and present investment ideas.
• Assist the marketing of trade ideas.
• Contribute to internal marketing forums (daily morning meetings).
• Identify business strategies to support growth and platform enhancement.

• At least 3 years of financial markets experience with a focus on derivatives structuring and/or trading.
• Deep understanding of risk metrics and funding profiles of derivative instruments, including key concepts around XVA.
• Strong interest and understanding of cross-asset markets and macro drivers.
• Energetic self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, process-driven, and a strong team player.
• Project management skills within large organizations involving multiple internal and external parties with competing priorities.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize with minimal oversight.
• Strong collaboration skills across different groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Bloomberg and/or other financial trading systems.
