The team has invested over $65 billion globally through 1,000+ transactions across the capital structure since 2009, with a current global portfolio of $20 billion+.Principal
Finance is a team with significant growth runway, providing the opportunity to work in a flat environment that encourages team members to expand their role and responsibility. This is a career-track role, with many examples of senior team members who joined with just a few years of experience and evolved into deal originators and leaders.
The Equity and Capital Solutions strategy covers junior capital, structured equity, and select private equity investments across sectors including financial services, business and IT services, and infrastructure.
Primary responsibilities include: identifying, analyzing, executing, and managing attractive risk/return investment opportunities; leading diligence conversations and efforts with internal teams, counter parties, and external experts; presenting in meetings including investment committee discussions; gathering data from differentiated data sources to support investment theses; preparing critical analysis including robust financial models, quality of earnings analysis, and KPI analysis; and distilling information into succinct investment committee memos and external presentations.
The ideal candidate has 1-4 years of experience in full-service M&A, capital markets, or investing, with strong analytical capabilities, excellent financial modeling skills, and the ability to multitask across multiple live transactions.
Salary range: $120,000 - $210,000 per year plus discretionary incentive compensation.
