The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Financial Aid, the incumbent provides financial aid counseling to prospective and current students, as well as graduates. The candidate also assists with various financial aid programs and other duties as needed. This is a part‑time position.

Bachelor's degree preferred, or the equivalent combination of experience and education. A minimum of two to four years of relevant experience (preferably financial aid experience in a university setting, or a background in related counseling and office experience) is required. Knowledge of management information systems and computer software is required. Understanding of financial aid need analysis and federal regulations that govern the management and delivery of financial aid funds is preferred.

Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, are required. Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, math aptitude, and an ability to work collaboratively as part of an administrative team are required. Must be able to work with diverse constituencies and support an inclusive work environment.
