Credit Risk Analyst – FI and Regulated Funds

• Responsible for the coverage of a portfolio of Financial Institutions and regulated funds counter parties
• Credit Risk Analysis, both quantitative and qualitative, across Brokers, Regulated Funds, Asset Managers and other Financial Institutions
• New client approvals, including setting credit appetite, limits and rating, performing due diligence calls/ visits, drafting/ negotiating credit terms for legal documentation
• Implementing and managing credit limits in accordance with risk appetite, including adherence to the Global Credit Limit Management Policy
• Analyzing economic, market, regulatory, industry events/developments and assessing their impact on the portfolio
• Reporting any relevant events to the Americas Head of Financial Institutions and Reg. Funds and other relevant senior risk management
• Managing counter party risk exposure, including transaction assessment and trade approval with a focus on Cash and Derivative products
• Ensuring adherence to Credit Risk limits, including Single Name limits, Country limits and counter party specific limits, escalating breaches to relevant senior risk management when necessary
• Proactively identifying and monitoring exposure concentrations, identifying risk mitigating actions and escalating/updating to Risk senior management as appropriate
• Identifying, monitoring and escalating trade settlement fails and recommending appropriate risk management actions
• Analyzing and interpreting the stress testing results and take actions as appropriate at counter party, country and/or industry level

• 3 to 5 years of Credit Risk experience covering Brokers, Regulated Funds, Asset Managers and other Financial Institutions
• Strong understanding of Cash Equity Products
• Strong familiarity with financial statement analysis and credit risk metrics
• Background in trading products in the Equities and Fixed-Income spaces
• Prior experience in dealing with Front Office stakeholders
• Comfortable interacting with senior management, communicating within Risk Management as well as the relevant business areas
• Ability to be a self-starter, working without supervision and managing multiple stakeholder expectations

Demonstrates expertise in Credit Risk Analysis, including quantitative and qualitative assessments across Financial Institutions and regulated funds. Proficient in managing counter party risk exposure and implementing credit limits in alignment with risk appetite and regulatory standards.
