- Managing all aspects of the NAFS portfolio of tribal clients
- Underwriting loans and other credit products for complex tribal governments and their business enterprises
- Working with legal counsel to review and structure loan documentation
- Ongoing credit monitoring and analysis
- Monitoring individual clients and portfolio trends
- Serving as a focal contact point for ongoing communications with tribal and enterprise CFO's, and legal teams
- Performing financial analysis and preparing underwriting documents to support multimillion-dollar corporate credit requests
- Monitoring and reviewing legal documentation
- Assisting product partners in cross-selling additional bank products
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in finance, accounting, economics and/or business (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial underwriting, credit, banking and/or financial services experience (required)
- Prior experience with governmental financial analysis and fund accounting is a plus.
- Prior experience with Gaming and/or Native American Financial Services is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand fund accounting and restricted fund compliance.
- Ability to structure and negotiate lending arrangements.
- Experience in negotiating loan documents.
- Ability to coordinate loan closings.
Demonstrates expertise in managing tribal client portfolios, underwriting complex loans, and conducting financial analysis. Proficient in coordinating loan closings and negotiating lending arrangements while ensuring compliance with fund accounting standards.
