AVP Tax

Our client is a boutique advisory practice focused on Corporate and Transaction Advisory work, with particular strength in buy-side M&A engagements for private equity-backed and growth-stage businesses. This is a firm where people are not buried in bureaucracy or bench work. Employees are handed real client relationships and genuine responsibility early on, working hands‑on with complex deals rather than sitting on the sidelines of a support function.

The firm is hiring an AVP, Tax Advisory to help build out its M&A tax offering. This position is centered on due diligence, deal structuring, and broader advisory support across buy‑side and sell‑side transactions for PE‑backed and growth‑stage clients.

• Owning tax due diligence work streams across live M&A deals
• Structuring transactions in a tax‑efficient manner for clients
• Serving as a direct point of contact for clients and deal teams
• Collaborating with the wider Transaction Advisory group on active deals
• Reviewing client tax filings as part of a broader scope of work

• 4 to 7 years of tax experience, with a preference for an M&A/transaction background
• Currently operating at Manager level, or a Senior on the cusp of promotion
• Someone energized by a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial setting who doesn't need heavy hand‑holding
• CPA strongly preferred given the tax‑return review component of the role;
