Private Equity Associate - Industrials

I am working with a Leading Investment Firm who are looking for a Private Equity Analyst/Associate to join their tech team in New York.

• Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation analysis, and LBO modelling to evaluate acquisition opportunities across industrial sectors, including manufacturing, aerospace & defence, business services, transportation, and distribution.
• Perform commercial, operational, and financial due diligence by analysing company performance, market dynamics, competitive positioning, and industry trends to support investment decisions.
• Prepare investment committee materials, including investment memoranda, financial analyses, and presentations summarising key risks, opportunities, and valuation considerations.
• Monitor portfolio companies by tracking financial performance, reviewing operating metrics, working with management teams, and identifying value creation initiatives to drive growth and operational improvements.
• Support transaction execution by coordinating with investment bankers, management teams, lenders, legal counsel, and third-party advisors throughout the acquisition, financing, and closing process.
