Our client, a well-known financial services firm located in New York, NY is seeking an FP&A individual to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:- Assist with financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and internal reporting to help evaluate and improve the firm's financial performance.
- Gather and analyze data from multiple systems while partnering with cross-functional teams to produce accurate reports and support business initiatives.
- Contribute to scenario planning, forecasting, and sensitivity analyses for both existing operations and new business opportunities.
- Partner with Portfolio Managers to monitor fund performance, including key metrics such as IRR, serving as a primary Finance contact to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with the Accounting team to review financial results, analyze budget-to-actual variances, identify trends, and support ongoing reporting initiatives.
- Work alongside business leaders to evaluate departmental revenue, expenses, and overall financial performance through regular reporting and analysis.
- Support strategic initiatives and business transformation projects in partnership with the Strategy and Corporate Development team, tracking progress and measuring results.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance internal financial reports and dashboards.
- Validate financial information included in investor materials, marketing presentations, and other external communications to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Review and approve financial content used in asset management marketing materials and investor presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance.
- Prior experience within financial services, ideally supporting an asset management organization.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA designation is a plus.
- Experience with financial planning and reporting platforms is a plus, but not required.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to investigate issues beyond the surface level.
- Self-motivated, collaborative professional who adapts quickly to new systems and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
