The

Corporate Finance Team

A&M's Corporate Finance practice sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. Our team advises corporate clients, founder and family-owned businesses, private equity sponsors, and financial institutions across the full deal lifecycle — from buy-side and sell-side M&A advisory to capital raises and strategic alternatives. We bring deep sector expertise, a hands‑on advisory model, and a relentless focus on getting transactions across the finish line.

You'll Do Financial Modeling & Analytics
  • Build and maintain complex financial models, including LBO, DCF, comparable company and precedent transaction analyses, serving as the primary owner of all quantitative outputs on engagements.
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of all internal and external analytics, cross-checking figures and controlling information flow across work streams.
  • Run structured data collection processes and synthesize large volumes of financial and operational information into clear, actionable insights.
Transaction Execution
  • Coordinate day-to-day execution across active mandates, managing timelines, work streams, and deliverables to keep transactions on track.
  • Oversee the preparation and quality of origination and execution materials, including confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks.

  • Support diligence processes, managing information requests and ensuring seamless communication between client teams and counter parties.
Client & Team Engagement
  • Interact directly with clients and senior team members, contributing to informal presentations and participating in client meetings with growing responsibility.
  • Demonstrate strong situational awareness across assigned work streams — anticipating needs, identifying next steps proactively, and operating with minimal supervision.
  • Mentor and guide junior Analysts, supporting their development in both deal execution and origination activities.
Business Development
  • Build internal relationships across A&M's broader platform — including Transaction Advisory, Restructuring, and sector teams — to identify cross-practice collaboration opportunities.
  • Seek exposure to external marketing and business development activities as you grow within the firm.
Who You Are
  • Minimum 1 year of investment banking experience at the Analyst level required; 2 years preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Accounting preferred; minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
