Loan Capital Markets Associate

Our client is a well-capitalised financial institution that is continuing to invest heavily in its Capital Markets and Corporate Credit platform. With significant capital allocated to growth, the business is expanding its investment activity across the syndicated loan market and is looking to add an Associate to support the next phase of its development.

This is an opportunity to join a lean, high-performing team where you'll gain broad exposure across credit investing, portfolio management and syndicated finance, while working alongside experienced market professionals.

As an Associate, you'll play a key role in evaluating and managing investments across a diversified portfolio of syndicated corporate loans.

• Analyse new investment opportunities across the primary and secondary syndicated loan markets.
• Perform detailed financial and credit analysis on corporate borrowers.
• Prepare investment recommendations and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
• Support portfolio construction and capital allocation decisions.
  
  Work closely with internal teams including Credit, Risk, Treasury and Capital Markets.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives as the platform continues to expand.

We're looking for candidates with experience across syndicated lending, leveraged finance or corporate credit who enjoy combining fundamental credit analysis with commercial decision making.

• 3–7 years' experience within Leveraged Finance, Syndications, Loan Capital Markets or Corporate Banking.
• Strong corporate credit analysis and financial modelling skills.
• Experience analysing leveraged companies and syndicated loan structures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present investment recommendations.
• A genuine interest in corporate credit markets and portfolio investing.
