Interim Finance Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client in the IT Services & Software Development sector to fill an Interim Finance Manager position in New York, NY (Downtown, Manhattan). This role is Interim to fill in for 6+ months. We are searching for a candidate with a strong background in FP&A that is comfortable in a hands-on role.

• Leading and assisting team through annual budget process and regular forecasting
• Performing budget to actual analysis and variance analysis monthly, quarterly, and annually in comparison to previous months/quarters/years
• Working closely with internal department heads to understand business initiatives, department expenses, and to discuss spend on a monthly basis
• Heavily utilizing Excel and building financial models to create an easily digestible depiction of expense and revenue findings for leadership team
• Providing detailed analysis of revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow to leadership team
• Assisting with any data/financial analytics projects as requested

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
• Previous experience in a Manager level role also required
• Tools such as Power BI and SQL are helpful
• Ideal candidate will have experience with additional financial tool such as Anaplan or Adaptive

• 40 hour work week with occasional overtime
• Typical hours are 9 - 5:30 PM, some flex on start time/end time
• 3 days in office in Midtown, Manhattan

• 6+ month temporary role to fill in for a leave of absence; potential for extension
