Investment Banking Associate- Infrastructure

A leading investment bank is seeking an experienced Associate 2 or Associate 3 to join its highly regarded Infrastructure, Power & Renewables (IPR) team in New York. This team advises strategic corporations, investors, sponsors, developers, and utilities clients on a broad range of M&A transactions. The group is active across power, utilities, renewable energy, energy transition, digital infrastructure, transportation, and other infrastructure-related sectors.

The team offers a unique combination of deep sector specialization, strong transaction flow, and a lean execution environment, providing Associates with significant responsibility and direct exposure to senior bankers and clients.

• Execute M&A, strategic advisory, and capital raising transactions from initiation through closing
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials
• Prepare client presentations, management materials, and pitch books
• Conduct industry, company, and market research across infrastructure, power, and energy transition sectors
• Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with clients, legal advisors, accountants, and other transaction participants
• Work directly with senior bankers on transaction execution and business development initiatives
• Mentor and oversee Analysts while helping manage day-to-day deal execution

• 3-6 years of investment banking experience
• Current Associate or recently promoted Associate-level investment banker at a leading investment bank
• Strong M&A execution experience and financial modeling skillset
• Experience preparing valuation analyses, transaction materials, and client presentations
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record

Candidates without direct infrastructure experience will also be considered if they possess strong M&A execution capabilities and a genuine interest in developing expertise within the sector.
