Junior Fixed Income Analyst – Emerging Markets

Responsibilities

• Support senior research analysts and portfolio management teams for a three-year assignment
• Conduct due diligence and ongoing surveillance of existing and prospective investments for sovereign and corporate issuers
• Update financial models and economic data
• Vigorous monitoring of economic, political events in developed and emerging market countries
• Analyze business and economic drivers and risks
• Automate existing on-team processes and reports

• University (Degree) Preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, sell-side or desk credit research, buy-side fixed income research, macroeconomic policy research, financial accounting or audit, or emerging markets capital markets
• Strong quantitative, analytical and financial modeling abilities with proficiency in Python and Excel
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg and/or Haver preferred
• Self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure, prioritize and multitask
• Interest in emerging market and international issues
• Strong communication and writing skills and high attention to detail
• Collaborative working style, team oriented
