Senior credit analyst with 5+ years of solid project finance experience in the infrastructure sector, focusing on energy and power assets in the U.S. and Canada. Primary responsibilities include the analysis, execution and rating of infrastructure and project finance transactions.

- Work in an experienced and collaborative team that values open communication.
- Lead ratings analysis, execution and research on new and existing North American transactions.
- Identify relevant trends, assess their credit impact and highlight them in industry and market reports.
- Gather and analyze quantitative, qualitative data and legal documents to produce ratings and credit reports.
- Collaborate with other analytical groups to ensure consistency and efficient transaction execution.
- Mentor junior team members.
- 5+ years of solid project finance experience in infrastructure.
- Proven credit skills gained in a bank credit department, rating agency, buy‑side credit department, or equivalent.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Open mindset for evaluating opportunities and risks in the evolving infrastructure landscape.
- Excellent modelling skills and proficiency with spreadsheet‑based financial models.
- Ability to read and understand complex structures and ask probing questions to issuers and advisers.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Capacity to meet tight deadlines and remain flexible to additional responsibilities.
- Rating agency experience.
- Ratings advisory work.
- In‑depth knowledge and interest in infrastructure and project finance.
- Background in capital markets and/or credit analysis.
- Experience interpreting complex legal documents such as bank agreements and bond indentures.
- Proven leadership and proactive stakeholder interaction.
- CFA designation.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business or Public Administration (preferred).
Expected base pay: $110,000 – $135,000 per year. Total compensation may include commission, discretionary bonuses, long‑term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
