Location: New York
Platinum & Partners is working with a leading multi-manager hedge fund directly hiring systematic equity Portfolio Managers into dedicated pods in 2026. This is a permanent employment opportunity, not an SMA, capital raise or external allocation.
A genuine seat is available with immediate capital deployment from day one.
The opportunity:
- Dedicated pod structure with full P&L ownership
- Initial book size $100m–$500m dependent on track record
- Full technology and infrastructure support from day one
- Established pod teams also considered
- New York, Greenwich/Connecticut or London based
What is required:
- Verified live track record, minimum 3 years running systematic equity strategies
- Sharpe ratio of 1.5 or above across full track record
- Experience running or co-running a book of $100m or above
- Strategy focus: statistical arbitrage, equity market neutral, factor or similar
- Strong risk management discipline, drawdown controls essential
What this is not:
- A role for candidates without a verified live track record
- Open to discretionary PMs looking to transition into systematic
- An SMA, separately managed account or external allocation
