Operations Analyst

An Investment Management Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Operations Associate.

Responsibilities

• Support trade lifecycle and portfolio operations across private and liquid credit strategies (loans, bonds, structured products)
• Assist with valuations, risk reporting, and portfolio compliance monitoring
• Manage treasury functions, including wires, cash movements, and liquidity tracking tied to deal activity
• Partner with deal teams and internal stakeholders on closing mechanics and ongoing investment support
• Contribute to pricing, reconciliations, and operational workflows across a diverse asset base
• Work cross-functionally with legal, compliance, technology, and fund accounting in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a demonstrated record of strong academic achievement.
• 1–4 years of experience in fund operations, fund administration, or middle office within asset management
• Exposure to credit products (loans, bonds, structured credit) is a strong plus
• High intellectual horsepower, attention to detail, and a “figure it out” mentality
• Interest in building a career across operations, treasury, and investment support within alternative assets
• Candidates from top fund administrators, asset managers, or select financial services platforms preferred
