THE FIRM
Jada Capital Management is a real estate private equity firm investing in U.S. residential real assets, with a core focus on multifamily and an opportunistic mandate across adjacent housing sectors, including build-to-rent and other rental housing strategies. The Firm invests through two complementary channels: direct acquisition of institutional-quality assets and portfolios, and the provision of structured equity capital — preferred equity, joint venture co-investment, and GP-level solutions — to established sponsors.
THE POSITIONJada is retaining its first senior investment professional. This is a ground-floor seat at a funded platform with a defined deployment mandate: the successful candidate will work directly with the Founder across the full investment lifecycle — origination through closing and into asset management — and will help shape the Firm's underwriting standards, market coverage, and institutional infrastructure. Title and compensation will be commensurate with experience at the Vice President or Senior Vice President level.
As the platform scales, the role carries a clear path to leadership and team-building responsibility.
- Lead underwriting and financial modeling across direct acquisitions and structured equity investments, including rent roll and T-12 analysis, value-add scenarios, debt sizing, and waterfall, promote, and preferred return structures
- Originate and screen investment opportunities through broker, lender, sponsor, and principal relationships; maintain active pipeline coverage across target markets and across the capital structure
- Evaluate structured equity opportunities alongside third-party sponsors, including diligence of sponsor track record, alignment mechanics, and downside protections
- Direct transaction execution end-to-end: due diligence, third-party reports, insurance and tax analysis, and coordination of legal, lender, and equity work streams through closing
- Author investment committee memoranda, letters of intent, and investor materials to an institutional standard
- Support capital markets execution, including agency and bank debt placement and term sheet negotiation
- Drive post-closing asset management: business plan execution, budget oversight, operating partner and property manager supervision, and quarterly investor reporting
- Build the Firm's underwriting architecture, market research capabilities, and data infrastructure
- Six to twelve years of real estate investment experience, with direct multifamily or residential transaction responsibility at a leading private equity firm, investment manager, REIT, or institutional owner-operator
- Outstanding academic credentials from a top-tier undergraduate institution; record of sustained academic and professional distinction
- Demonstrated deal sheet evidencing meaningful personal responsibility for underwriting, structuring, and execution on closed transactions
- Exposure to structured equity, preferred equity, or JV/GP investing alongside third-party sponsors is strongly preferred
- Expert-level financial modeling; fluency with CoStar, Yardi Matrix, Real Page, and institutional market data platforms
- Command of multifamily operations, agency and bank financing, and complex partnership structures
- Exceptional analytical rigor and written work product — investment committee materials produced with minimal revision
- Self-directed, intellectually honest, and energized by a lean, entrepreneurial environment with total ownership of outcomes
