Senior Associate, Real Assets – Portfolio Management and Strategy (IB Experience Required

Real Assets platform has more than $85billion in assets under management across Net Lease, Real Estate Credit and Digital Infrastructure strategies. We are looking for a Senior Associate to join the Real Assets Investments Team, focused on Portfolio Management and Strategy for all closed‑end and open‑ended funds, including ORENT and ODIT, our signature non‑traded REITs.

• Lead analytical work streams and support strategic initiatives for the net lease, real estate credit and digital infrastructure funds.
• Serve as a key member in executing corporate M&A and capital‑markets transactions—including equity capital raises, private placements and fund‑level debt financings.
• Create complex financial analyses for business planning, product launches, strategic transactions and capital allocation strategies.
• Support ad‑hoc projects presented to the Real Assets C‑Suite, including investment evaluations, capital deployment, asset disposition, industry research, market trend analysis and competitive landscape assessment.
• Build and maintain forward‑looking fund‑level models for multiple funds and non‑traded REITs.
• Assist with fund liquidity, conduct ongoing liquidity analysis and proactively plan for capital needs (capital calls and debt draws).
• Prepare quantitative and qualitative analyses and draft board presentation materials for non‑traded REITs.
• Support Institutional Capital and Private Wealth teams in fundraising and investor relations by preparing discussion materials and providing analysis for RFP and investor Q&A.
• Monitor public and private REIT markets and bond/equity markets to formulate competitive financial strategies.
• Assist with developing and monitoring key business performance metrics—including return calculations and operating results.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly valuation processes; coordinate with consultants and participate in valuation committee meetings.
• Interface with asset managers, investment officers, accounting, tax and legal teams, commercial and investment banks, rating agencies and consultants.

• 5+ years of experience in Real Estate Investing, Real Estate Fund Management or Investment Banking (Real Estate Investment Banking coverage a plus).
• Strong demonstrated experience in M&A and capital‑markets execution, financial analysis and financial modeling with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong attention to detail while assessing the bigger picture and providing key takeaways.

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics with a strong academic record.

Location:

New York City (Manhattan office).

Base annual salary range: $175,000 to $200,000. Actual salaries may vary based on skill, experience and qualification. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and team performance.
