What Does a Lead Bank Operations Specialist Do at Canandaigua National Bank?

A Lead Bank Operations Specialist is an elite financial industry professional with strong expertise in bank operations function processing. This role plays a crucial part in the bank's mission to maintain a professional and team-oriented corporate culture through managing workflow, scheduling, and administration of an assigned team within Bank Operations. This role works under the guidance of a Bank Operations Supervisor to ensure all team functions are processed according to service standards.

This role also promotes the bank's vision of leveraging the full capabilities of our people by ensuring we are continually developing Bank Operations personnel within the assigned team and coach team members to look for opportunities to exceed expectations in the marketplace in a way that honors CNB's Core Values. Individuals in this role have an exceptional grasp on Bank Operations functions, are subject matter experts throughout the bank operations area, participate in various department and corporate projects, provide input to the department management team on prioritization of future projects, and have a strong focus on developing both themselves and those around them.

What

Competencies Are Needed to Be Successful in This Role?
  • An associate degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or a related field normally required.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Specialized banking operations education and training with focus on Deposit Products required.
  • CNB Intermediate FSR training preferred.
  • Three to five (3-5) years' experience in related positions normally required.

Compensation range: $23.25 - $25.50/hr the actual salary offered within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, and performance expectations.
