Overview

Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, LLC (EYCA) offers comprehensive investment banking services within a global network. As a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking group, you will advise clients on M&A and capital markets alternatives with a focus on Payor Services, including managed care, value‑based care, and related organizations.

Your role will involve leading, originating, and executing both buy‑side and sell‑side M&A transactions and capital markets deals for private and public middle‑market enterprises, as well as partnering with private‑equity sponsors. You will also lead and develop a team of mid‑level and junior members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and lead the execution of investment banking engagements in the Payor Services sector.
  • Originate and execute buy‑side and sell‑side M&A transactions and capital markets transactions.
  • Cover private and public middle‑market enterprises and relevant private‑equity sponsors.
  • Leverage EY’s global reach to communicate the firm’s capabilities to senior client executives.
  • Lead and develop a team of mid‑level and junior professionals, ensuring their career development.
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Advise companies on M&A, strategic, and corporate finance transactions.
  • Supervise, coach and mentor senior and junior team members to prepare compelling pitch materials and offering memoranda.
  • Develop relationships with investors and strategic participants for M&A and capital‑raising mandates.
  • Perform extensive financial analysis, valuation, and pro forma financial modeling.
  • Identify key issues and potential areas of valuation and transaction risk within engagements.
  • Conduct in‑depth sector market and company‑specific coverage.
  • Contribute to recruiting and team development initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of directly related work experience, or a graduate degree and at least 7 years of related experience.
  • Extensive investment banking experience, especially in originating and executing M&A transactions.
  • Existing Series 7 and/or 79 plus Series 63 securities licenses (in good standing).
  • Ability to work directly with clients as the most senior banking team representative and manage all client deliverables.
  • Strong experience leading a team in the execution of transactions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proven record of excellence in investment banking transaction execution within Payor Services and related sectors.
  • Experience with in another credible investment banking organization.
  • Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
  • Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours as required.
  • Reside in or be within commuting distance of the office location.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of leveraging AI tools in business settings, including Microsoft Copilot.
