The Carlyle Group is looking for a 2-Year Associate in Asset-Backed Finance to join their team in New York. This role involves evaluating new investment opportunities and monitoring existing portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance and strong analytical skills. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation.
What You’ll Do- Evaluate and execute new investment opportunities
- Design investment solutions for institutional investors
- Conduct due diligence and financial modeling
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Draft materials and investment committee memos
- 1 – 3 years of finance experience
- Exposure to asset finance, corporate credit, and structured products
- Prior investment or financial institutions experience preferred
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Competitive base salary of $150,000
