** Role Overview
** Turning Rock Partners, an opportunistic credit asset manager providing debt and structured equity solutions to capital-constrained middle market businesses across North America, is hiring an Associate/Vice President for its Opportunistic Credit team in New York.
** Key Responsibilities**- Perform deep-dive fundamental credit analysis across industry verticals, assessing business models, liquidity, capital structures, covenants and creditworthiness
- Build and refine financial models and prepare investment memos/presentations
- Source and evaluate investment opportunities and contribute to portfolio construction
- Lead live deal execution: due diligence work streams, coordinating advisors, reviewing quality of earnings and legal diligence, structuring terms
- Engage directly with C-suite executives, lenders and sponsors
- Review and provide guidance on credit agreements, intercreditor agreements and offering materials
** Qualifications**- 3-6 years relevant investment experience including 2 years in an investment banking leverage finance or restructuring program
- Preference for significant private credit/opportunistic credit investing experience
- Capital markets expertise and networks to source transactions
- Strong independent decision-making and ability to navigate complex debt/equity situations
