We are looking for candidates to join our Structured Products team in New York to support our legal documentation drafting roles. Our team provides legal documentation drafting and issuance support to cross-asset structured products businesses at a range Tier 1 Investment Banks.
We help our clients reduce costs and improve processes by moving them away from their existing proprietary models towards mutualized managed services, enabling a healthier and more performant business.
Delta Capita has one of the largest teams of structured products experts in the world and count many leading structured products issuers as our clients. Our services cover all aspects of structured product issuance, with a core focus on Legal Documentation, Transaction Management, and Product Governance services. Our core mission is to enable our clients to comply with regulatory obligations, transform and simplify their operations, reduce costs and adopt innovative business models and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft and review legal documentation (Pricing Supplements including preliminary and final, Final Terms, Summaries and ancillary documentation) for structured product transactions.
- Manage a pipeline queue of transactions to strict deadlines.
- Partner with legal departments and/or external counsel, when required, to seek advice and review legal documentation and templates for new or adapted payoffs.
- Initiate process improvements and leverage technology for document automation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts in Operations, Structuring, Legal and Trading.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Experience with in the financial service industry drafting issuance documentation for securities or structured products, or complex or non-standard derivatives.
- Experience working on structured products and/or derivative transactions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in written form.
- Ability to prioritize workflows in order to meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and deliver high quality work.
- Strong work ethic proven by previous working experience.
- Excellent Microsoft Suite skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
As a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices, depending on the client) aligns with our client’s policies and expectations, and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires.
SalaryRange: $70,000 - $100,000
