** Role Overview
** NLG Capital — the ~$40B+ AUM investment management arm of National Life Group — is hiring a Senior Associate to join its Private Credit team, focused on direct lending. The role evaluates, executes, and manages private credit investments across sponsor-backed, non-sponsor-backed, and secondary market opportunities.
** Key Responsibilities**- Conduct credit analysis: financial statement review, credit risk assessment, liquidity analysis, capital structure evaluation, due diligence
- Build and maintain complex financial models including cash flow analysis and covenant compliance/stress-testing
- Prepare investment memoranda for the Investment Transaction Committee
- Underwrite and execute private credit investments; evaluate secondary market opportunities (portfolio acquisitions, single-name investments)- Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance, and identify optimization opportunities
** Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field- 2+ years of experience in private credit, private equity, investment banking, or similar financial services role- MBA and/or CFA designation preferred
** Location & Compensation
** New York, NY. On-site, 4 days/week in office (Mon-Thu). Salary range: $163,125 - $239,250 USD.Apply for this Position
