The RoleWe are looking for a highly organized and commercially minded Investor Relations professional to help manage and expand relationships with institutional limited partners.
You will work with a sophisticated LP base that includes endowments, pension funds, and other large institutional investors. The role combines relationship management, fundraising, co-investment execution, and operational ownership, while providing close exposure to the investment team and portfolio.
This role is ideal for someone who is intellectually curious, highly detail-oriented, comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment, and excited by venture investing and high-growth companies.
What You'll Do- Manage relationships and ongoing communications with existing institutional LPs.
- Prepare and deliver portfolio updates and relevant investment information to investors.
- Present and coordinate co-investment opportunities alongside the broader investment team.
- Source, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective institutional investors.
- Support significant SPV and co-investment transactions involving existing LP relationships.
- Collaborate with the investment team across opportunities ranging from early-stage investments through later-stage transactions.
- Maintain accurate investor data and activity within the firm's CRM.
- Help strengthen internal processes and ensure a high standard of organization across investor relations activities.
- 2+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, capital formation, placement agency, or a closely related role.
- Experience working with or developing relationships with institutional investors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence communicating with sophisticated investors.
- Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in venture capital, technology, and high-growth companies.
- A proactive, ownership-oriented approach to work.
- Experience working with institutional LPs such as endowments, pensions, or other large asset owners.
- Exposure to venture capital, private markets, or alternative investment strategies.
- Experience supporting co-investments or SPV transactions.
- Familiarity with investor CRM systems and fundraising workflows.
- Experience collaborating directly with investment professionals.
- Direct LP exposure: Build and manage relationships with sophisticated institutional investors.
- Broad ownership: Work across fundraising, investor communications, co-investments, and IR operations rather than a narrow functional remit.
- Investment exposure: Collaborate closely with investors across companies at multiple stages of growth.
- Meaningful transactions: Participate in substantial co-investment and special-purpose investment opportunities.
- Lean-team environment: Take meaningful responsibility early and have visible impact on how the investor relations function operates.
