Location: New York

Bank of America is seeking a Financial Advisor to provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. The role includes triaging client leads, making referrals, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work with clients to plan short and long‑term financial goals, building a financial plan with brokerage products (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money‑managed solutions).
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client financial goals and needs.
  • Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
  • Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended.
Required Qualifications
  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses (or Series 63/65 in lieu of 66) with the ability to pass any missing series within 60 days.
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services.
  • At least one year of experience working in the financial services industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals, build and nurture strong relationships, and collaborate effectively to get things done.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging all clients, and efficient time management.
  • Thorough and thoughtful incorporation of regulatory due diligence into daily activities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
  • At least three years of experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment with a track record of exceeding goals.
  • Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC.
  • Current insurance licenses.
Additional Information
  • Preferred:
    Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Minimum education:

    High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
Schedule

Monday – Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 annualized salary, with eligibility for a formulaic incentive plan based on performance. The role is benefits eligible with access to industry‑leading benefits, paid time off, and support for employees’ well‑being.
