Location: New York

Responsibilitie

  • Support day-to-day middle office operations across a portfolio of alternative investments, including private equity, private credit, hedge funds, and real assets
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new funds, investment managers, and service providers
  • Prepare and distribute investor and portfolio reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Monitor capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, and redemptions while maintaining accurate investment records
  • Reconcile investment activity and work closely with fund administrators, custodians, and external managers to resolve operational issues
  • Assist with cash management, transaction processing, and investment documentation
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, and Investment teams to support reporting and operational initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate processes, and enhance operational control
  • Support ad hoc projects related to portfolio management, reporting, and systems enhancement
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in middle office, investment operations, fund operations, or portfolio operations within a family office, asset manager, fund administrator, or alternative investment firm
  • Experience supporting alternative investments, including private equity, private credit, hedge funds, or real assets
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, capital activity, and investment lifecycle even
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with investment accounting or portfolio management systems
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills with strong attention to deta
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
