Manager (OBH), Blood Bank

A banking finance and tax department is seeking a Senior Associate to support accounting, financial analysis, financial control, regulatory reporting, and tax-related activities. This role offers broad exposure across financial statements, management reporting, budgeting, controls, regulatory filings, and system enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have accounting experience within banking or public accounting serving banking clients and be comfortable working across multiple finance functions.

• Prepare financial statements under IFRS and French accounting standards.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for management, head office, treasury, and corporate departments.
• Support analytical reporting, cost accounting reports, and management reporting deliverables.
• Prepare regulatory reports and support related reporting processes.
• Perform internal controls and support financial control activities.
• Provide financial information to support P&L projections and business analysis.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support development, testing, and enhancement of department systems and automated tools.
• Assist with tax-related work, including data compilation, analysis, and documentation.
• Partner across finance, treasury, corporate departments, and other stakeholders as needed.

• Must have 3+ years of accounting, financial reporting, financial control, or related finance experience.
• Accounting experience within a bank or audit firm serving banking clients preferred.
• Master s degree, CPA, or equivalent credential preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with financial control, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
• Understanding of financial instruments such as bonds, derivatives, and money market instruments.
• Knowledge of asset-backed securities or mortgage-backed securities is a plus.
• Experience with U.S. And/or French regulatory reporting is a plus.
  
  Ability to work across multiple finance functions in a collaborative environment.
• French language skills are a plus.
