We are hiring a Consumer Loan Processor at our Latham, NY office. Must have flexibility to work M-F between 8-6pm and rotating Saturday’s 9-1pm. Eligible for a hybrid schedule after the training period, up to 2 days per week.
Starting pay, $21.00–$22.50 per hour, based on experience.
Position Overview:- Review loan and new account packages for required documentation; follow up with staff or members and coordinate closings/account openings.
- Process loans and new accounts accurately, resolve errors, and ensure documentation follows policies and regulations.
- Support mailing, follow-up, and disbursal for out-of-area/state loan applications, with emphasis on Virtual Engagement Center applications.
- Deliver exceptional service, support member calls, and recommend process improvements to enhance satisfaction.
- Generate management reports on application volumes, disbursals, and related metrics.
- Partner with the Virtual Engagement Center and Financial Centers to improve loan closing and account opening effectiveness.
We’re looking for someone who brings a passion for supporting members and teammates. If you have a high school diploma/GED or higher, plus at least 1 year of related experience, we’d love to connect. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable navigating and learning multiple software programs, and able to stay organized while helping create a positive experience in a fast-paced lending environment.
