Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)
Salary: $82,000 – $110,000 + Discretionary Bonus

About the RoleI’m working with a leading international bank seeking an experienced AVP to join their Loan Agency Closing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a global banking environment, handling complex syndicated and bilateral loan facilities across multiple sectors.
In this role, you’ll support the Closing Team Lead and take ownership of the accurate and timely execution of transactions
. You’ll manage new agency deal closings where the institution acts as Administrative Agent, direct lender, or participant — ensuring full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate loan closing transactions among Borrowers, Lenders, Agent Banks, Treasury, Front Office, and Middle Office teams.
- Manage all administrative aspects of new deal closings, including fee calculation, invoicing, and disbursement.
- Review funds flows, legal documentation, and credit agreements to ensure accuracy.
- Set up and maintain loan structures within internal systems (ACBS / LoanIQ).
- Manage and monitor commitment facilities, borrowing status, repayments, and prepayments.
- Calculate and process interest, fees, and ongoing borrower/lender payments.
- Liaise with Treasury for rate settings across multiple currencies.
- Troubleshoot reconciliation issues and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects, process improvements, and training initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in syndicated loan administration or deal closing within a major bank or financial institution.
- Ability to read and interpret Loan agreements
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong knowledge of wire transfers (FED / SWIFT).
- Competitive base salary of $82,000 – $110,000 (depending on experience).
