Senior Vice President, Multi-Credit Finance - Private Credit / Private Markets

Work Model: Hybrid — 3 days in office

A rapidly growing, employee-owned alternative investment platform is seeking a Senior Vice President, Multi-Credit Finance to serve as a senior finance leader within its expanding private markets business.

This is a newly elevated leadership opportunity created to support significant growth across the platform. Over the past several years, the business has more than doubled its number of funds and added several highly regarded senior investment leaders. This role is ideal for a senior accounting or finance professional who combines Big 4 training, a CPA, and meaningful private credit / private equity fund experience and wants broad exposure beyond traditional fund accounting.

Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for complex private credit and alternative investment funds.
• Lead quarterly close processes, NAV calculations, income and expense allocations, and fund-level return calculations.

Private Credit, Liquidity & Fund Operations

• Oversee credit facility activity, covenant monitoring, borrowing base calculations, and lender reporting.
• Manage investor capital calls, distributions, and related reconciliations.
• Support liquidity management and cash planning across funds and investment vehicles.

Strategic Finance Partnership

• Partner closely with Portfolio Management and investment teams on new fund launches, SMAs, and investment structures.
• Support fee calculations, allocation methodologies, and fund structuring.
• Work cross-functionally with Tax, Legal, Compliance, Valuation, and other internal teams.

Leadership, Controls & Process Improvement

• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, including two strong direct reports.
• Improve and automate processes as the fund platform continues to scale.

• Significant growth: The private markets platform has expanded substantially over the last 2–3 years and continues to grow.
• High visibility: Senior finance leadership has regular interaction with the CFO and senior investment professionals.
• Complex funds: The business manages sophisticated private market strategies, providing exposure to challenging and interesting accounting and finance issues.
• Lean, entrepreneurial environment: Despite the backing of a large and highly established investment organization, the division operates with the feel and agility of a smaller shop.

The position operates on a 3-day-per-week in-office model in New York City
, which is expected to remain in place. The firm typically provides additional flexibility around the holidays.
