Job Description:

Position Summary The Private Capital Solutions group at Guggenheim is responsible for originating, structuring, and distributing privately negotiated financing solutions for global corporations, financial institutions, and infrastructure projects. The team also advises private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate managers on a variety of secondary solutions inclusive of continuation vehicles and annex funds.

The role sits within a team in Private Capital Solutions that specializes in minority equity raises, including senior common and preferred equity raises for growth equity, dividend recapitalization, and acquisition financing purposes.

This position and team structure present a unique opportunity for the new team member to gain exposure to senior leaders in the group and across Guggenheim Securities. We are seeking bright, highly motivated individuals with solid corporate finance knowledge coupled with strong Excel and modeling skills.

Essential Job Functions Deal Execution:

Key deal team member for execution of a broad range of advisory and financing transactions;expected to interact with senior bankers, clients, and other advisors duringdrafting/working/negotiating sessions

Analyze industry and company-specific information, including detailed research and analysis of global institutional investors

Conduct research and analysis in the Private Capital (private equity, growth equity etc.) markets

Prepare analysis on institutional investors including growth equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, alternate asset managers etc.

Track market data to assist the group’s communications with clients and industry coverage teams

Work closely with industry teams as needed to support successful deal completion

Monitor overall execution and book-building of private capital offerings

Perform financial analysis of financing alternatives and term sheet proposals from investors

Additional responsibilities as requested

Marketing:

Manage coordination and drafting of marketing materials, including pitches (with content that supports proposal), term sheets, and market updates

Prepare related client and Board presentation materials etc.

Actively participate in meetings and video conferences with issuer clients, investors etc.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of and strong passion for global capital markets including: growth equity, structured/preferred equity, special situations, ESG/infrastructure strongly preferred

Ability to multi-task, team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects across different industry verticals and manage them effectively

Strong organizational skills and remarkable attention to detail

Strong judgment, critical thinking skills and maturity

Excellent communication, and ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form Initiative and creativity in approach to problem solving and to be resourceful

Exhibits strong dedication to the job and takes ownership of deliverables

Effective process management abilities

Entrepreneurial spirit: the ability wear many “hats” and have a positive can-do attitude

Required FINRA Licenses:
Series 7, 24, 63 & 79

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required2+ years of investment banking experience

Core modeling and PowerPoint experience in professional setting

Strong written and oral communication skills

Salary Details Annual base salary between $125,000 and $175,000.The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position.
