A placement agent, private equity firm, alternative asset manager, or investment bank may seek a Fund Placement Specialist to support fundraising efforts across private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, or venture capital strategies. Support fundraising and capital raising efforts for private funds and investment vehicles

Research and map institutional investors, family offices, and allocators by strategy and geography

Assist in preparing pitch decks, PPM summaries, data room materials, and investor reporting

Track investor outreach, meeting notes, pipeline activity, and CRM updates

Coordinate due diligence processes, subscription documentation, and closing logistics

Analyze fund performance, benchmarks, and market positioning for investor presentations

Collaborate with senior placement professionals, fund managers, and investor relations teams

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-facing mindset

High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

Ability to manage multiple fundraising work streams simultaneously

Prior internship or experience in placement, investor relations, private markets, or financial services is beneficial

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM systems and investor databases is a plus
