Private Equity Investment Professional – Direct Investments

We are working with a large institutional investment platform looking to appoint an experienced Private Equity Investment Professional to its Direct Investments team.

The role will focus predominantly on North American investment opportunities, investing across both majority/control and significant minority transactions.

• Originate, evaluate and execute direct private equity investments
• Lead financial modelling, valuation and investment underwriting
• Manage commercial, financial and operational due diligence
• Structure and execute majority, minority and co-investment transactions
• Prepare and present investment recommendations to Investment Committee
• Negotiate transaction structures, governance rights and key commercial terms
• Work closely with portfolio company management teams
• Support value creation, strategic M&A and growth initiatives
• Monitor investments through to eventual exit

• Strong track record within Private Equity / Direct Investments
• Experience executing North American transactions
• Full deal lifecycle experience from origination and underwriting through execution
• Exposure to control and/or significant minority investments
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and commercial capabilities
• Experience working with portfolio company management teams
• Background from a leading private equity fund, institutional investor, investment holding company or family office
