Our client is a private credit investment firm focused on providing tailored financing solutions to lower middle market companies. The platform invests across multiple strategies and maintains a dedicated focus on software and technology businesses. Backed by a well-capitalized investment partner, the firm offers flexibility in structuring transactions and significant capacity to deploy capital.

Our client is seeking a Vice President or Director to join its Direct Lending team, focused on originating and executing transactions across the software and technology ecosystem. This role is approximately 70% origination and 30% execution, targeting a mix of sponsor-backed cash flow loans and recurring revenue (ARR)-based financings.

The ideal candidate will bring an established network of private equity sponsors and technology-focused intermediaries, along with experience sourcing, underwriting, and executing transactions within both traditional direct lending and recurring revenue lending strategies.

• Originate new lending opportunities within the software and tech-enabled services sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with private equity sponsors, founders, and intermediaries.
• Source, evaluate, and execute both sponsor-backed cash flow loans and recurring revenue-based financing opportunities.
• Lead transaction execution, including underwriting, due diligence, and deal structuring.
• Partner with internal credit, legal, and portfolio management teams throughout the investment process.
• Represent the firm at sponsor meetings, conferences, and industry events.

• 6+ years of experience in private credit, direct lending, recurring revenue lending, sponsor coverage, or investment banking.
• Demonstrated experience originating and executing a mix of sponsor-backed cash flow loans and ARR-based financings.
• Strong network of private equity sponsor relationships and technology-focused deal referral sources.
• Proven ability to originate and execute transactions independently.
• Familiarity with software/SaaS business models, recurring revenue structures, and lower middle market lending.
• Must be based on the East Coast;
  New York residency is not required.

• The firm operates with a lean team structure, and this role sits within a dedicated software and technology lending team.
• This is a true full-lifecycle investment role with responsibility across both origination and execution. It is not a "source and hand off" position.
• The strategy focuses on a combination of sponsor-backed cash flow lending and recurring revenue financing opportunities within the software and technology sectors.
• The platform has significant capital available to deploy and emphasizes speed, flexibility, and responsiveness in transaction execution.
