AVP Portfolio Manager - C&I

A well-established regional bank is looking to add an AVP Commercial Portfolio Manager to their C&I team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio, build strong relationships with existing clients, and work alongside experienced lenders on new business opportunities. This position offers a mix of portfolio management, credit, and client interaction ideally for someone looking to take on a high-visibility role within a commercial banking platform.

• Manage a commercial loan portfolio while serving as a key point of contact for clients.
• Lead credit reviews, renewals, modifications, and re-underwriting while monitoring financial performance and covenant compliance.
• Partner with Relationship Managers on new lending opportunities, deal structuring, and client development.
• Prepare credit memos, financial analysis, and portfolio reporting for senior management.
• Work cross-functionally with Credit, Legal, Treasury, and Operations to execute transactions and support client needs.

• 3+ years of commercial banking experience in portfolio management, underwriting, or credit.
• Strong commercial credit and financial analysis skills.
• Experience working directly with commercial clients and Relationship Managers.
