The Role

This position will be leading the internal audit team consisting of Senior Manager, Managers and Executives, contributing towards the establishment of an effective risk control environment in the Group. Key deliverables will involve the delivery of internal audit plans for REITs including project delivery and management, coaching of staff and stakeholder management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and execute audit programs to adequately identify and assess risks.
  • Perform walkthroughs with process owners to identify key processes and controls, as well as identify gaps.
  • Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Controls testing and review testing procedures.
  • Participate in or lead internal ethics and fraud investigations and assist in ad-hoc projects when needed.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal processes and controls, recommending opportunities for improvement.
  • Supervise, provide leadership and ensure the effective functioning of the Internal Audit Team.
  • Participate in ad-hoc and special assignments/projects as and when delegated by the CEO.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent and at least one and preferably several recognized professional designations such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE and CMA.
  • At least 15 years’ of relevant working experience and 5 years of people management experience.
  • Possess excellent business communication, influencing and persuasive skills, strong planning, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of the Sarbanes Oxley control requirements with experience working in an international company based in Asia.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good written and spoken English is a must to be able to present effectively across the Group.
Compensation Data

$220,000 - $245,000

This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the indicated state’s Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful applicant, in the state of hire, might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be performing the role from the indicated state of hire. Similar positions located outside the indicated state will not necessarily receive the same compensation.

Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by the Pay Transparency Law enacted in the state of hire. Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including previous work experience, specific industry experience, relevant skills, training and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
