Alma Bank is currently looking to hire an experienced Loan Processor to work out of its Corporate office in Astoria, NY.
SummaryThis position requires a highly organized individual with strong multitasking skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal departments, customers, and third-party vendors throughout the loan process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Track Loan Applications and Pipeline Activity
- Order Searches, Credit Reports, Appraisals, and Environmental Reports
- Manage Good Faith Deposits, Processing Fees, and Commitment Fees
- Process Vendor Invoices and Payments
- Coordinate Appraisal and Environmental Report Engagements
- Prepare and Distribute Loan-Related Reports
- Issue Commitment Letters
- Update Loan Information within nCino and Other Bank Systems
- Scan, Index, and Maintain Loan Files
- Coordinate with Underwriting, Lending Officers, and Third-Party Vendors
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Efficient in gathering, analyzing and managing information
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
Banking or loan processing experience preferred. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe PDF).
Benefits- Salary commensurate with experience. (salary range $55,000 - $65,000)
