AmeriCU Credit Union is seeking a Senior Dispute & Fraud Analyst to help protect our members and safeguard the organization from fraud-related losses. In this role, you'll investigate debit and credit card disputes, identify fraud trends, ensure regulatory compliance, and work closely with members, merchants, and internal teams to deliver timely resolutions. What You'll Do as aSenior Dispute & Fraud Analyst
- Investigate and resolve debit and credit card disputes.
- Manage chargebacks, claims, and fraud cases from start to finish.
- Gather documentation and communicate updates to members throughout the process.
- Analyze suspicious transactions and investigate potential fraud.
- Monitor fraud trends and recommend strategies to reduce risk and financial loss.
- Partner with card processors and internal teams to strengthen fraud controls.
- Ensure all cases are handled in accordance with Regulation E, Regulation Z, and card network requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the dispute lifecycle.
- Manage timelines and reporting requirements to support audits and compliance reviews.
- Serve as a trusted resource for members experiencing fraud or transaction disputes.
- Collaborate with merchants, law enforcement, vendors, and internal departments to resolve complex issues.
- Deliver exceptional service while protecting member confidentiality and financial interests.
- Assist with Card Services operations, ATM/ITM support, and other department initiatives as needed.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and help identify emerging fraud risks.
